Oh, my, now, forgive me, but referring to the Element as an "SUV" brought a bit of a snicker here. You see, were I asked to describe it, I'd refer to it more as a high school aged minivan, you know? I mean, it's purpose is obviously carrying kids and groceries. But that's not at all cool. So the ground clearance goes up, and we need more protective plastic pieces. The end result, it's a lot more durable, a good bit better in inclement conditions, but really, it's still a minivan.
