Not sure I understand the cheese question. By tip, I am presuming you mean cutting it from one wedge shape into another wedge shape.

I'm also assuming you're cutting off a piece to eat and store the rest, not eating a wedge shape piece of cheese (if that makes sense)

Okay. So you have a wedge of Brie. Yum, yum, time to eat the Brie! Do you cut off the tip, in other words, the acute corner of the triangle? Or do you cut from the side, keeping it in a triangle?

And yes, this assumes that you're not just picking it up with your fingers to eat the whole thing. So, either you're going to eat some and store the rest, or you're sharing with your Brie-loving friends.
