in which i make it do what it do.
So, yesterday was spent profitably updating my doula business flyer, meeting with
queen_of_wands, and then sending her a bunch of doula information stuff.
I'm feeling really positive. Finally, I have a flyer that I don't hate! Uploading it to my website uniquebirth.com and having y'all take a look at it and give me your feedback is my next step. Once that happens, I'm planning to make a list of places to put it up, and put it up. And maybe trying to write some feature articles for local papers (scary!).
I am also discussing website redesign with
7j and new possibilities for both doing and having backup. Joint studying for certification is likewise being planned.
I feel like I'm laying a great foundation for 2007.

Small Suggestions
1.) It is a little hard to read. Maybe the font color (black) against the background (dark purple) makes it too hard to read. I suggest using a lighter background or the same color, but with transparency.
2.) Suggestion to make the font size of the questions, larger than the font size of the answer. In order to break it up visually. I do a lot of PowerPoint for work, so these suggestions aren't just my preference, but come from a book o' how to make presentations easy to read.
3.) Make font of text 13.5 or 14.
4.) Add a picture? Of you. Or a baby. Or a symbol.
5.) Most important: At the top of the page should be contact information! Where to call. How to reach you. Where to write. It should be very large font or very prominent. Right near the Welcome.
You can repeat your contact info in the text ('cuz I see you have it at the bottom.) BUT IT SHOULD ALSO BE NEAR THE TOP... ALL BIG... AND READY TO USE...
~ good luck...
