queer femme documentary

So, as some of you may know, this month is the GLBT film festival at the MFA. This Friday at six they are showing a documentary on queer femmes. I think it sounds awesome and I'm planning to be there. If anybody else wants to meet up with me and my posse, drop me a line. We will probably have dinner after the show somewhere nearby.

Skinny Dip by Carl Hiaasen

This book was a suggestion from zzbottom. He recommended the author generally as writing funny mysteries. This book made me laugh out loud on the bus. I was expecting something along the lines of Lawrence Block, but actually the writing style reminds me more of Christopher Moore, only with less demons and more environmentalism. I recommend it, and am looking forward to reading other efforts of this author. Four stars.
