I need a gym.

I think it needs to have a pool.
A cardio stripping class would be a big plus. Of course, I may not be able to get both of those at the same place.

Any suggestions?

hm. i just recently ran across a reference to a local stripping class, though i don't know if it's meant for cardio (though they seem to do small-group lessons so details are probably negotiable).

m used to swim at the somerville ymca, occasionally talks about going back.

*nod* I talked to the Somerville YMCA on the phone. They seem good, and they have aqua aerobics. They also have a lunchtime swim hour, which I think would work wonderfully for me. Not to mention, steam room!

Crunch Fitness in BOston has cardio stripping classes.

The Y's pool is small but serviceable, and their basic membership (which is what I always had) is only about $20/month. You need to pay more to get to the room with the machines in it, but if you just want pool and freeweights, that's all you need. And -- steam room!

(They have aqua aerobics? I really want to take a class like that. Do you know the times?)
