in praise of Origins
Jul. 19th, 2005 11:11 amAbout a year ago,
starkeymonster introduced me to Origins skin care products. I was hooked immediately.
My most recent acquisitions: the award-winning Modern Friction scrub, which is a deep-down exfoliator with healing agents, and Matte Scientist, an oil-reducing moisturizing lotion that is rocking my world. My face doesn't feel greasy with MS, even in this weather. So delightful.
Their shower gels and body lotions are nice, but expensive. But their facial products, especially the Sensitive Skin line, are worth every last penny.

Date: 2005-07-19 03:25 pm (UTC)I never used to go there until my ex specifically requested the Origins lip balm be sent to him (he was deployed in Iraq). I scoffed at the insane price of $6, but tried it before I sent it, and wow, it was good.
I may want to try some of their other stuff, especially for the face--I've been looking for a nice eye-area moisturizer.
