buxom_bey brought a laptop to the poly social for my use. (I was so surprised to get any response on that post! Y'all rock!)
I calledmrpet to see if he could pick it up for me, since I was making dinner for starkeymonster.
He said, "Actually, I ordered you one for your birthday."
So, soon I will have a laptop! Yay! There are so many ways that this is good. From being able to take my computer into the patch of sunlight commonly in the dining room, to being able to spend a day working and playing at the library or Diesel, to the possibility of taking it on trips. I am so happy about this.
One of the disadvantages to working at home is that I've been feeling a little housebound. With a laptop and cellphone (business only, which is why I haven't given out the number) that no longer needs to be true.
